Hi, I'm Marie, the owner and photographer behind Marylane Studios. I've been a professional photographer since 2017.

People tell me the same thing again and again: they felt at ease with me. That means more to me than almost any compliment I could get. I'm not there to direct your day or ask you to redo a moment for a better angle. I'm there to be present, guide you gently on light and location, and then get out of the way so your day can unfold the way it actually happens.

I love the real, unposed moments most: a strand of hair caught in the wind, a laugh mid-sentence, the quiet in between the big events. My goal is timeless photos that feel like you, not a performance for the camera. That approach is exactly what lets the images turn out elevated and editorial too. Not because I'm chasing that look, but because real moments, when photographed well, tend to end up there on their own.
